Urgent: System Issue with Selecting Preferred Schools

There is currently a system issue affecting the selection of some non-Wokingham Borough schools as preferences. This issue is being investigated as a matter of urgency.

If you are unable to select a school as a preference please try again in the near future.

The closing date for applications is 31st October. Applications are not processed until after the closing date and no preferential treatment is given to families who apply earlier within the application timeframe.

Due to essential maintenance the Citizens Portal will not be available at the following times:

  • Tuesday 28th September 2021 - 8am to 5pm
  • Tuesday 7th December 2021 - 5pm to 7:30pm
  • Wednesday 5th January 2022 - 8am to 5pm

To use this site you will need to register and then you can add family information and view applications for supported child related services. Unless you have created an account since September 2017 you will need to register.

At present only the School Admissions page is open for use. If you are applying for a school place please click the “Apply for a School Place” icon once you have registered and added your child's details.

If you’ve tried to login into the Citizens Portal School Admissions system and have received the message ‘System Unavailable’ it may be that you’ve mistyped your password or used an email address you didn’t register with.

To resolve the problem you can try logging in again, checking your password and email is correct. If this doesn't work, please try using the 'Forgotten your password?' link and carefully follow the instructions.

If you have chosen to use the two step verification option and have not received the email with your verification code, please check your spam / junk mail folders.
